Over the past few years, Kim Rivard has acted as director of consulting for a human resources consulting firm. In this capacity, she headed a multidisciplinary team made up of psychologists, lawyers and human resources advisers. She led and supervised numerous cases of harassment investigations, mediations and organizational climate diagnoses. She has also advised various workplaces on moving toward a culture of respect and civility, and has developed training content for harassment prevention, as well as providing training herself.
In addition to her experience in management and resolution of workplace disputes, Kim Rivard worked as director of labour relations in an association representing some 6,000 freelance artisans in the cultural sector, where she participated in the negotiation of collective agreements and managed a team of lawyers and labour-relations advisers.
She has also worked as a lawyer in labour law and in police ethics.
Kim Rivard has been a member of the Bar since 2003 and is accredited as a mediator by the Quebec Institute of Mediation and Arbitration.
